I have a financial interest in OptiBiotix Health.
OptiBiotix Health's ambition to be a trailblazer in life sciences focusing on obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, and skincare has announced a notable collaboration with the University of Reading, funded by a grant from the Biotechnology and Biological Science Research Council (BBSRC). With the University of Leeds helming the project, this intriguing alliance will bolster research on WellBiome®, OptiBiotix's innovative prebiotic and mineral complex.
In a savvy move, OptiBiotix has secured £55,451 for this venture, aiming to scrutinise WellBiome®'s efficacy in improving gut health and overall wellbeing. This is not just a financial investment in learning; it's a scientific endorsement if UoL supports specific claims. The research will delve into WellBiome®'s influence across the digestive tract, potentially bolstering its impressive health claims in global markets.
Speaking of health claims, WellBiome® boasts a litany of them, painting a picture of a near-miraculous elixir. It supports digestive health, brain health, and bone health (aiding the absorption of minerals like magnesium, calcium, and zinc) and even contributes to a balanced immune response. Notably, it's also claimed to reduce systemic inflammation, potentially lowering the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity, and support heart muscle function.
