I have a fianacial interest in Lake Resources.
Lake Resources, the beleaguered Australian lithium miner, is again under the spotlight, but this time it is different because it is served up an encouraging update on 4 October 2023 on their Kachi Lithium Brine Project in Catamarca Province, Argentina. For once, I am in a buoyant mood after digesting the data from the Fresh drilling report, which hints at a brighter horizon for investors in the lithium industry, as the grades and the vertical extents of the lithium-bearing brine at the project exhibit significant improvement. However, investors are still required to be in for the long haul as there is no rapid commercialisation of Kachi; this is all about the grade and quality of the Kachi resources.
The K24D41 drilling results are particularly encouraging. With lithium grades ranging between 180-348 mg/L over a vast 445-meter stretch, itβs evident that the quality and scale of the lithium brine at the Kachi project are far from negligible. The deeper layers of K24D41, specifically those between 400 and 610 meters, have shown lithium brine deposits extending beyond previously identified resources, solidifying its potential as a game-changer in lithium extraction.
