Elric,

You are you, and a bumbling idiot never. Come back, Mr Langton, and ditch this enhanced diction, bollocks.

Thanks, Peter.

I was discussing this with an investor last night over a curry. I'll put it down to an experiment that's not worked.

I don't like the sound of my own voice, so a posh AI version has made it worse. πŸ™ˆπŸ˜œ

Is this podcast some kind of AI recording or are you just trying out a more formal tone? It makes no difference but I can’t resist asking!

Clio, you may have missed the first time we tried an AI version. I explained I couldn't read long-form scripts because I suffer from dyslexia and I'd come across as bumbling retard.

Substack has an option for each article to be read by their AI. We though we would try to turn my sexy voice into an AI version and see how much it pissed people off. 😜

Personally, I don't like it because the AI has a formal bias which makes it sound like trying to polite, like I've just met the inlaws for the first time.

You’re right I missed it. It’s actually very good, 9.9 out of 10, you can see how it gets people in trouble! I had to ask because we at either side of the Pennines never finish words with the letter β€˜G’. I’d ruled it down to either AI or it genuinely being you but I theorised you were possibly angling towards an American listener base or something. I can concentrate on listening to the actual content now that is settled πŸ˜‚

Clio, checking the stats after your American audience theory. We do have around 8% of our readership from the USA. Prob ex-pats seeking some form of sanity from the socialists. πŸ€”πŸ™ˆ

The two main issues is the sound quality is poor. The other is its a tad posh. Ita workable for anything around five minutes.

I appreciate the feedback. So, thanks.

Oleric, your troll is expecting Sbtx to make a mess of the cosmetics launch. I swear that guy is a moron.

Was angry man seeking seeking saga advice or was he on a fishing trip.

As far as the first royalty payment is concerned, the size isn't that important. You and Tw are aligned. It only matters if its 7 figures, because it becomes price sensitive and hugely significant because the royalties start from a high base.

Pj has concerns for the commercial development for sweetbiotix. He is right to raise concerns because it has been over a years since Soh declared there would several products launched throughout 2024. We haven't had 1 and not update. Everything is hinging on Morepen while ignoring Hunt group and H&b flops.

Sort of. I text him my new mobile no. (so you can't call me anymore :) He phoned asking what this was, despite the cryptic clue: My new number, Tom.

He then asked me for my thoughts on SBTX, to which I opened by saying, "I think Ashman has to go, and you (Tom) should be the CEO." I'm joking; I nearly did because Tom has been rather cruel to Ashman for an extended period, especially as Tom keeps throwing Afori in his face like he was a subscriber and, therefore, forewarned. There was a lot of back-and-forth, but there was an alignment on expectations, which I touched on.

Anyway, we played nice. I think it should be the only way Tom and I communicate because the written word is a nightmare.

Regarding OPTI, I am somewhat concerned that Tom and some investors may be placing too much faith in Morepen's forecasts and the pace of growth. If they achieve their targets, OPTI is fundamentally cheap, particularly if PBX and SBTX perform well. I explained to Tom that I would be willing to reinvest in OPTI if I observe positive commercial developments for SweetBiotix, as the first GEN does not excite me, and I do not wish to reduce my SBTX holdings to fund OPTI purchases. There are, of course, other options; however, it once again depends on SweetBiotix.

Phil, the number you're calling belongs to the old engineering company I retired from. Give it a week or so, and you'll probably get a new engineer. I'm sure you'll get on well.

Regarding LSE chatter, I rarely bother visiting these days, particularly when there is no company news. When I do visit, it's to gather questions that I may seek answers to for investors.

Re Opti how long ago did TW mention that two Companies were due to visit re sweetbiotix, the reference has slipped from my old grey cells?

TW has certainly been more patient than I. I couldn't believe he asked me if I would be selling the OPTI shares I had sold at 47p to fund further purchases of SBTX. He knew I had already sold them because we had discussed this on SP several times. It's why I claim I have been correct more often than he has on OPTI.

Thanks for the podcast :

Some speculation

Re SBTX, we have no idea of the full terms of the 2019 agreement , however, if I was SBTX I would have attempted to built in a milestone payment, on successful project completion. If this was the case, it would also explain why both SBTX and Croda were sure of a payment being made prior to 31/12/24

All the best

Bill

Bill, this has been discussed with Ashman. Croda's investment in a dedicated production facility and clinical study funding are part of the milestone package; they are "wrapped up in a different bow."

That said, I believe I am correct in stating that future commercial agreements with Croda outside of cosmetics will necessitate milestone payments.

The initial payments received in December are likely for the upfront selling of the lysate, which commenced around June 2024. Orders have been arriving in 2025.
