Hypocrisy and double standardsโtwo things I loathe almost as much as a lukewarm Pint of Powder Monkeyโs Warrior. And when it comes to comparing Companies like OptiBiotix Health and SkinBioTherapeutics, it seems my new best mate, Tom Winnifrith, has decided to whip out his finest double-edged sword when deciding what constitutes a โprivate chatโ and what should be announced via official channels, such as an RNS.
Don't get me wrong, Tomโs a sharp cookieโalways entertaining and usually spot on (leaving aside SkinBioTherapeutics, of course), but on this occasion, heโs truly outdone himself. Perhaps heโs had one too many late-night debates with his keyboard, because the inconsistencies in his approach shine brighter than a lighthouse in a blackout. If only we could apply the same rigorous scrutiny to his scrutiny?
Examples of Tomโs politician dance with hypocrisy. He willing to look silly rather than admit the glaring obvious.
For clarity, the sum result of Stuart Ashmanโs โprivate chatโ was, โspot-on.โ
Please help our friends @PMBrewCo, who are honoured and thrilled to be involved with a new charity established by the 2003 World Cup-winning team. A contribution from EVERY Can or Pint sold will go to that charity. Itโs time for the Rugby Community to bond.
Given the current England performance, with five defeats in a row, you might fancy sinking a crate or two to drown your sorrows.
